Jordan Smiley is an Associate in the Health Care Practice Group at Musick Peeler in Los Angeles. Her practice focuses on regulatory compliance, transactional matters, and strategic guidance for health care clients, including providers, pharmaceutical companies, and medical device manufacturers. She advises on a broad range of health care regulations, including reproductive health, telehealth, consent laws, and disciplinary matters, and assists clients with professional and facility licensing, as well as enrollment in state and federal programs such as Medicaid and Medicare.

Jordan also supports start-ups and established organizations in developing compliant policies and procedures. In addition, she has experience with health care mergers and acquisitions, including managing change of ownership and change of control filings, and drafting employment agreements tailored to the unique needs of health care professionals. 

Prior to joining the firm, Jordan advocated for clients seeking at-home health care through Medicaid at Disability Rights California. She later served as a Health Care Associate at Foley & Lardner LLP, where she focused on health care regulatory compliance.

Jordan earned her J.D., with Pro Bono Honors, from UCLA School of Law in 2023, where she served as Chief of Production for the Criminal Justice Law Review and as a Production Editor for the UCLA Law Review. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Washington in 2018 and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
