David G. Mann is a Partner in the Firm’s Los Angeles office. Mr. Mann is also a Certified Public Accountant. His primary areas of practice are tax controversy and tax transactions. He provides tax guidance and advice to individuals, entities and their owners and executives and interfaces with the businesses’ internal legal and accounting staff and external lawyers and accountants. 

Mr. Mann has extensive experience in advising individuals and businesses regarding all aspects of federal, state, local and foreign taxation (including income and franchise, sales and use, estate and property taxes) and has represented clients during all levels of tax controversy resolution (including audits, appeals, hearings and court proceedings) before the IRS, FTB, SBE, EDD and local tax authorities. He has handled numerous individual and business entity tax and business transactions, including the organization, maintenance, reorganization and dissolution of all types of business entities, and the negotiation and documentation of various settlements, audits and court proceeding with various tax authorities.
