Musick Peeler Partner Stephen Bradford Named “Dealmaker of the Year” Nominee by Los Angeles Business Journal

Musick Peeler Partner, Stephen Bradford has been named a 2026 Dealmaker of the Year Nominee by the Los Angeles Business Journal. The awards recognize the advisors, dealmakers and transactions that have made a significant impact on the mergers and acquisitions landscape across Southern California.

"This nomination reflects not only his exceptional legal skill and commitment to client service, but also the significant role he plays in helping businesses achieve their strategic objectives through successful transactions,” said Co-Managing Partner Richard Galofaro.

Bradford co-leads the firm's Transactional Law Practice, where for more than three decades he has advised public and closely held companies, investors, and business owners on transformative mergers, acquisitions, succession plans, financings and other complex transactions. He is known for helping clients navigate critical inflection points and achieve long-term growth objectives through strategic counsel and practical business judgment. Bradford has guided domestic and international clients through expansion, consolidation, acquisitions, sales and other high-stakes matters that drive value and position organizations for lasting success. He is a member of Musick Peeler's Executive Committee and co-leads the firm's Charlottesville, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., offices, while maintaining a primary presence in Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Earlier this month, Bradford’s accomplishments in the M&A arena were also recognized by the Los Angeles Times where he was named a Private Equity and M&A Business Visionary.
