Musick Peeler’s Tim Chang speaks to over 300 investors on US Regulations and the Foreign Investment Risk Review Modernization Act (FIRRMA), which was implemented to address growing national security concerns over foreign exploitation of investments in the U.S. The 2018 FIRRMA expands the jurisdiction of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S. (CFIUS), broadens the list of allowable transactions by foreign companies, and modernizes CFIUS’s process to enable timely and effective review of covered transactions.
