J. Brad Wiggins

J. Brad Wiggins is Special Counsel in the firm’s Corporate & Securities and International Departments, based in the Virginia and Washington, D.C. offices. He brings decades of experience to his practice, with a career-long specialization in cross-border U.S. securities law and a deep-seated fluency in the Canadian market.

Mr. Wiggins’s experience is rooted in his early career as a staff attorney in the SEC’s Division of Corporation Finance in Washington, D.C. This regulatory foundation informed his subsequent work in private practice, where he served in the Los Angeles office of a national law firm before joining a boutique corporate firm. There, he established a reputation as a leader in international securities, eventually becoming a partner and founding the firm’s cross-border practice group.

Prior to joining Musick Peeler, Mr. Wiggins founded Securities Law USA, a firm dedicated to providing specialized U.S. securities services to Canadian legal counsel and their clients. Mr. Wiggins earned his LL.M. in Securities Regulation from Georgetown University Law Center and his Juris Doctor from Brigham Young University Law School.
