Irma L. Martinez
Irma L. Martinez is Of Counsel in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Her practice focuses on employment litigation, with experience representing clients in both state and federal courts. Ms. Martinez handles a wide range of workplace matters, including wage-and-hour claims, wrongful termination, retaliation, harassment, and pregnancy and disability discrimination.
Prior to joining Musick Peeler, Ms. Martinez spent over a decade in private practice prosecuting wrongful workplace conduct. Her extensive background in labor and employment also includes serving as Assistant General Counsel for the State of California's Agricultural Labor Relations Board.
Ms. Martinez earned her Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University and her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School. Prior to her legal career, she built a significant portfolio in both the private sector and in public service, including serving in Washington, D.C. during the Clinton Administration. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
