Ha Eun Cho
Ha Eun Cho is a partner in the firm’s Los Angeles office. She represents insurers in complex property and liability insurance coverage disputes. Ms. Cho has extensive experience advising insurers on coverage analysis, claims handling, and litigation strategy in state and federal courts throughout California and beyond.
Ms. Cho regularly represents insurers in declaratory relief, contribution, and equitable subrogation actions, and prepares advisory opinions involving a wide range of policies, including commercial general liability, businessowners, cyber, foreign, and excess and umbrella policies. In particular, she has experience analyzing coverage issues involving technology insureds, business income loss, personal and advertising injury liability, and risk transfer disputes. Ms. Cho has successfully briefed and argued dispositive motions and has obtained favorable trial and appellate outcomes.
Prior to joining Musick Peeler, Ms. Cho practiced at several California and national insurance litigation firms. Before focusing her practice on insurance, Ms. Cho litigated business, real estate, and civil rights matters and gained significant beach and jury trial experience.
Ms. Cho earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School, where she was on the executive board of the Loyola Law Review and received First Honors in Trial Advocacy. She also served as a judicial extern for the California Court of Appeal, Second Appellate District. She holds a Master of Public Affairs from the University of Massachusetts Boston and a B.A. from Boston University.
