Alan Zuckerman of the firm’s San Diego office, with the assistance of John Browning in Los Angeles, represented a California Regional Center in connection with the issuance of $10,425,000 in Revenue Bonds. The bonds were issued by the California Municipal Finance Authority to, among other things, refund outstanding bonds at a reduced rate of interest and fund a maintenance, repair and replacement fund for the Regional Center’s benefit. As a result of the bond refinancing, the Regional Center was able to materially reduce its long-term rent payments at its headquarters.  The bonds were underwritten by Westhoff, Cone & Holmstedt. The transaction closed on July 25, 2019.
