PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY

Mr. Lionel P. Bochurberg is a partner with the Firm’s San Diego office and a member of the Corporate & Securities Practice Group.  His practice focuses on corporate and transactional business law with experience in renewable energy, biotech, software and wireless industries. As a former executive at various hi-tech companies, and with his wealth of contacts, Mr. Bochurberg is a perfect match for start-up and mature companies looking into structuring capital, securing financing, undertaking M&A transactions and expanding their international reach.

Mr. Bochurberg’s practice also includes international cross-border activities. As an active member of the Quebec Bar (and former member of the Paris Bar), he is a natural resource for French-speaking entrepreneurs and companies in the United States.

Prior to joining MusickPeeler, Mr. Bochurberg was a partner with Dillon Miller Ahuja &  Boss, LLP for five years.  He has also held senior in-house positions at Wavecom SA (now Sierra-Wireless), InfoVista SA, NextWave Wireless Inc and Soitec Solar Inc, and ran a solo practice under the Legal.Ventures name.

• Successfully represented Cotecna Inc. in the acquisition of the majority stake in Act Labs, LLC
• Successfully co-represented sellers in the sale of Joulin to Piab
• Successfully negotiated the sale of Soitec Solar’s CPV patents and other intellectual property rights
• Successfully negotiated the sale of Soitec’s CPV solar power plant in Newberry Springs CA
• Successfully negotiated the acquisition of Tempest Technology Technologies Corporation (fire-fighting equipment) by Leader
• Successfully negotiated the sale of an 8.93 MW solar power plant fully equipped with the company’s equipment

Business and Real Estate

• Successfully represented a French entrepreneur in the setting-up of his California online wine club
• Successfully represented French semiconductor company in the negotiation of a strategic master supply and manufacturing agreement
• Successfully represented a Canadian company in the negotiation of a US joint venture
• Successfully negotiated multiple commercial Leases, sale and purchase agreement (PSA) of commercial buildings and other real estate transactions

International Litigation and Arbitration

• Successfully represented a French car dealer in an arbitration in London under LCIA rules of arbitration
