Brent Reinke is a corporate partner in the Firm's Ventura County office. His corporate practice emphasizes the areas of mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, advising emerging growth companies, corporate securities and finance, strategic alliances and licensing. He represents numerous technology and "brick and mortar" companies who are in various stages of development, ranging from start-up and venture backed companies to corporations with multi-national operations. His clients are involved in a broad array of industries, including, high-tech, telecommunication, biotech/life science, software, venture capital, real estate, internet, aerospace, entertainment and manufacturing. Prior to joining Musick Peeler, Brent was a corporate partner in the international law firm of Reed Smith, LLP.
Brent is the Founder/Chairman of the Bio Science Alliance, a nonprofit organization providing networking and resource opportunities for the life science community located along the 101 Corridor region incorporating west San Fernando Valley, Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. He also is the Founder and Chairman of the Gold Coast Business Forum, a business organization which provided educational and networking events for companies along the 101 Corridor from 2000 - 2015. He played a leading role in establishing the Westlake Village Chapter of Keiretsu Forum, a global angel investor network with more than 2500 investor members throughout 47 chapters on 3 continents.
