Experience

Kirsten C. Love is a partner in the firm's Los Angeles office. Ms. Love has experience handling all areas of employment litigation, including harassment, discrimination, wage and hour, contract, wrongful termination claims, and class actions, before state and federal courts and administrative agencies. Ms. Love also advises employers on how to comply with state and federal laws, drafts and revises handbooks, policies, and procedures, and provides training to supervisors and employees. She also provides employment counseling on disciplinary matters, terminations, layoffs, leaves of absences, disability issues, investigations of internal complaints, and severance agreements.

Ms. Love devotes a significant portion of her practice representing healthcare and educational institutions. Specifically, she advises and represents colleges and universities in connection with faculty, staff, and student issues.

While at law school, Ms. Love was awarded an American Jurisprudence Award in Labor Law and was a Literary Editor on the Pepperdine Law Review.

Ms. Love is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, American Bar Association, and the National Association of College and University Attorneys.
