Experience

Cheryl A. Orr is a partner in the firm's Los Angeles office. Ms. Orr handles general litigation matters, with a particular expertise in insurance coverage law.  She is also a Certified Specialist in Appellate Law in the State of California. As an appellate specialist, Ms. Orr handles civil appeals and writs in the California Court of Appeal, the California Supreme State and in the Ninth Circuit.  Ms. Orr has a number of successful appeals to her credit, including several published opinions in the insurance field.

Ms. Orr  has practiced in the California state and federal courts. In addition, she is admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeal for the Ninth Circuit and before the United States Supreme Court. She has been active as a member of the Appellate Courts Committee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association since 1992.  She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
