Aaron L. Botti is a partner in the firm's Westlake Village office and a member of the firm’s Corporate and Tax and Employee Benefits departments.  He specializes in representing both public and private corporations in corporate and business transactions as well as complex oil and gas transactions.  Mr. Botti advises clients in connection with public and private securities offerings, private financings, federal and state securities law compliance, corporate governance, employment and non-competition agreements, and other general corporate matters frequently encountered by business enterprises. In the mergers, acquisitions and recapitalization area, he has negotiated and drafted agreements for private and publicly traded companies in both “buy” and “sell” transactions. Mr. Botti is experienced in advising clients on forming, maintaining and growing various business entities such as corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships.  Augmenting his corporate experience, Mr. Botti advises with respect to the tax aspects of business transactions including income tax, sales tax, property tax and transfer tax matters.
 

Mr. Botti’s oil and gas experience includes negotiating, drafting, and analyzing of various types of oil and gas contracts including purchase and sale agreements, joint operating agreements, area of mutual interest agreements, farmout agreements, leases and surface use agreements, and easements for domestic petroleum producers.
