Experience

John R. Browning is a partner in the firm's Los Angeles office. Mr. Browning specializes in corporate and business transactions with an emphasis on corporate finance. He has represented corporations and healthcare institutions in connection with all types of major financing transactions, including taxable and tax-exempt bonds, both fixed and variable rate, notes, debentures, and bank and other institutional loan transactions. Mr. Browning has been the responsible partner in financing transactions aggregating in excess of five billion dollars.  He also represents  clients in connection with mergers, acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, joint ventures,  and other general corporate matters.  He also advises with respect to complex real estate matters from time to time.

Mr. Browning is a member of the American Bar Association. He is currently a member of the Committee on Nonprofit Corporations, American Bar Association, Section of Business Law, and was formerly the chairman of the Subcommittee on Financing.
