Experience

John R. Browning is a partner in the firm's Los Angeles office. Mr. Browning specializes in healthcare corporate and business transactions with an emphasis on corporate finance. He has represented healthcare institutions in connection with all types of major financing transactions, including taxable and tax-exempt bonds, both fixed and variable rate, notes, debentures, and bank and other institutional loan transactions. Mr. Browning has been the responsible partner in financing transactions aggregating in excess of three billion dollars. He also represents healthcare clients in connection with mergers, acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, joint ventures, medical office building projects and other general corporate matters.

Mr. Browning is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association. He is currently a member of the Committee on Nonprofit Corporations, American Bar Association, Section of Business Law, and was formerly the chairman of the Subcommittee on Financing.

While at UCLA School of Law, he was editor-in-chief of the UCLA Law Review.
