Experience

James M. Hassan is a partner in the firm's Los Angeles office, a member of the firm's Management Committee and leader of the Tax, Trusts and Estates Practice Group. Mr. Hassan specializes in taxation, probate and estate planning matters.  Mr. Hassan was selected for inclusion in Best Lawyers in America for 2012 in the Trusts and Estates practice area.

Mr. Hassan is also a Certified Public Accountant (license status: inactive) and a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association (Taxation Section and Probate and Trust Law Section), the State Bar of California (Taxation Section and Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Section), the American Bar Association (Taxation Section and Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section), the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and various civic and charitable organizations.
