Adam D. Wieder is an associate in the Firm's Ventura County office. His practice focuses on litigation and transactional matters involving commercial, real estate, labor and employment, and environmental law.
Mr. Wieder has successfully represented businesses, individuals and public entities in state and federal court litigation and before administrative agencies. He also has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution, including judicial and contractual arbitration, mediation, and negotiated settlements. Mr. Wieder provides practical legal advice and efficient solutions on a broad range of business issues and compliance with various federal, state, and local government regulations.
Mr. Wieder’s recent accomplishments include a complete defense verdict and an award of fees and costs for a leading reseller of Microsoft ERP solutions that was sued for $2 million based on claims for fraud, misrepresentation and breach of contract; numerous successful settlements of Proposition 65 claims; an outstanding settlement on behalf of an accounting firm in a professional liability action for its audit of a publicly traded company; several major settlements on behalf of a large school district in federal court actions involving environmental issues; a complete defense verdict in a bench trial representing a landlord and his companies who were sued by a tenant seeking over $1 million in damages; and a complete victory in an arbitration on behalf of an international computer services provider, obtaining a judgment for the entire amount sought, and all attorneys’ fees and costs.
While in law school, Mr. Wieder served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Arthur M. Greenwald, United States Bankruptcy Judge, and was a student mediator at the Loyola Law School Center for Conflict Resolution.
Mr. Wieder is fluent in Spanish and Hebrew, and has lived, studied, and taught in various parts of the world, including South America, Israel, Italy, and Taiwan.
In 2015, Mr. Wieder was selected as a Southern California Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine.
