Cheryl Orr and David Tartaglio are presenters at this year's Legal Advisory Committee Retreat on September 8, 2019.
The topic will be Making Risk Transfer Work After Centex: A discussion of the development of the law on the duty to defend in the context of indemnity agreements, the recent Centex Homes v. R-Help Construction Co., Inc. case, and how the potential for indemnity rule retransfers risk between general contractors and subcontractors and their respective insurers.
