Peter Diedrich and Kent Halkett prevail in arbitration02.15.2009Peter Diedrich, assisted by Kent Halkett, conducted a four-day arbitration representing a health insurer. Plaintiff, a group of dermatiology centers, sought approximately $2 million in damages from the insurer on a breach of contract theory for allegedly failing to pay for valid claims for various services rendered to members of health insurer. The arbitrator awarded plaintiff nothing. In January 2009, the Superior Court entered judgment on the client's behalf pursuant to the arbitration award. |
